SaWo - Altered Cabinet Cards

I scanned my cards and printed them out as small as possible, then mounted two of them on a tag for this weeks challenge over at Saturdays Workout

Penny Black Challenge - White on White

The background is a cuttlebug floral embossing folder, and the stamp is one of my favourite Penny Black stamps ....Pop over to see the lovely artwork, the link is down the left side of my blog. The second card is plain and simple, but pretty, stamp is Flying Stars..

Oooo A Twaktaa

A gorgeous little boy names Elliot is 2 years old very soon, and he eats and sleeps tractors, so I made him this very simple card, which I know he will love. Actually, the background greens haven't shown up too well on the scan, it's more intense in real life.....

One Powerful Hour

The challenge over on OPH this week is Spooky - well, I tried to make two spooky ATC's, but don't think they would scare many people :-) I used an Inkadinkadoo skull stamp (pressie - aren't I lucky?) and some halloween die cuts and embellishments courtesy of a goody bag from Kristen - link on the left hand side of my blog.

Penny Black Challenge

Well, I was stumped this week, I don't have any PB Halloween stamps, or any from any other company for that matter because I simply don't send Halloween cards, but I decided to improvise for this weeks Penny Black challenge
I made the card up with a PB stamp, an Anita's word stamp, PaperMania background paper and some Halloween embellishments courtesy of a goody bag received from the lovely Kristen (whose links are all over my blog)

Some Christmas Cards ..

I made these cards with FlowerSoft and Tapestry stamps. Actually, if you double click on the cards to take a closer look, the little black dots on the Tapestry card is actually gold glitter, which looks very pretty - it doesn't show up at all on the scan which is a shame because the card is quite pretty in real life...
The FlowerSoft used is Christmas Mix.

Penny Black Challenge

I've never entered this challenge before, although I follow it regularly, because the examples are always so stunning, I never think my cards are good enough to enter. However, today, I was playing about with greens and yellows, and came up with this card, hope you like it ladies :-)
Stamps used are Penny Black 'Casual', Printworks word stamp and Papermania background papers..when I stamped the image, I smudged the ink slightly because I wanted a soft, muted look ....
The Penny Black blog link is down the left hand side of my blog - go and enjoy!!

What a weekend ........

I went to Port Sunlight Craft and Stamp show yesterday, took hubby along for a culture shock (he said it reminded him of a cattle market, or being dragged round a jumble sale with him mum when he was a lad..) and actually we had a brilliant day. Met up with my friend Carol - pop over and see her gorgeous cards - had a good chin way, and a great spend - even more so than usual, because hubby kept putting a word in here and there about how I could use particular stamps - and of course, to keep the peace, I agreed with him every time :-)
These cards are the result of a lovely weekend of play with mostly new stuff, stamps are Artistic Stamper, Hampton Arts, Stamps Away, Penny Black, Beach Bum stamps and a few of my own. Fraid there is overkill with turquoise because I also bought a luscious new Vintage ink pad from Ranger and just found some card to matt and layer that matched perfectly.

Simple Christmas Cards.....

Here are a couple of the first batch of cards - I need a major assault on my craft room, have so many cards to make that I must make a load more space - trouble is, it's a really tiny ropom, and I have a tad - just a tad - too much stuff :-)
