FREEBIES - Vintage family

Here are a couple of photo's of my beloved grandmother, early 1920's for you to use in your art, she would approve of being a model, she was always very smartly dressed and always wore a hat when she went out. Her hair was always long and as she grew older, she began to part it in the centre and had two 'earphones' just held together with a few pins, I remember watching her winding it up and curling it round, and it never movded out of place - happy memories....

ATC's

I scanned these ATC's in their little cello bags, and so they have a slight glare them, perhaps if you pop over to my ATC blog, they are single images without the bags...and would look better.

25th Anniversary card

I made this card for a friend to give her daughter and son-in-law, had a problem first, because I didn't have a clue what kind of card I wanted to make, the only clue I had been given was that the couple like karaoke. Well, I couldn't find anything romantic musically, so I opted for plain romantic and when I saw these tiny silver roses, and the even tinier red ones I visualised exactly what I wanted to do. I have taken a couple of close up photos so you can see the tiny bouquet and corsages I made, and if you look carefully, I even tucked a couple of tiny red rosebuds under the Joanna Sheen rose topper, and under the top of the verse.

Wildfire Rose

Hubby and I have been looking for this particular rose for quite a while, and yesterday - well, I was cock-a-hoop - we found one. It's a standard rose around 4ft high, and I just love the colour and delicate perfume.
