I am greeting the new year with a picture taken from a magazine produced by a small animal charity, Freshfields, whose main aim is to rescue ponies, sheep, dogs, cats, pot-bellied pigs and anything else four legged that is thrown out, particularly at this time of year, when people still persist in buying cuddly baby animals for Christmas presents, they have too many of everything, from rabbits upwards and run two or three small shops selling donated goods towards the cost of feedstuff, bedding etc......
I am also using this picture for my Pink Saturday entry, because I feel that charity is something that touches all our lives somtimes, So to Beverley at How Sweet the Sound, and to everyone who visits, Happy Pink Saturday, and Happy New Year xxx

I love this post, thank you. I have 5 pet bunnies and have been thinking about donating time to a rabbit rescue haven when I am back on my feet. They are the most loving sweet animals. Happy belated pink Saturday.
