PINK SATURDAY

I am later this week posting my Pink Saturday photo because I have been out for some retail therapy -- twice a year we have a small craft show for cardmakers and trubber stampers - my idea of heaven - so I met a friend for lunch and watched a lot of lovely ladies and gents demonstrating new and exciting ideas.

My photo is of two of my own plants, a Cyclamen and an Aftrican Violet. I am particularly proud of the violet because I started it from a leaf - so I have watched it grow and flourish and flower !!

Your plants are so pretty, and I have a particular fondness for African violets, too.

Makes for a wonderful day when you can spend it at a craft fair. I have worked the craft fairs for 30 years.

retail therapy....LOL...I loved that phrase! My Mom has a whole kitchen window full of violets and has had them for as long as I can remember.

I like both those plants, but particularly cyclamens: I used to go cyclamen picking with my mom on the Alps when I was little.

Beautiful flowers. I was into rubber stamping a few years ago. I used to make greeting cards and it was fun. Now I make them on the computer. That's fun too.

From a leaf - that is wonderful. I love house plants, especially in the these long New York winters. Happy Pink Saturday.
