TMTA - E
Wow, Think Monday,Think ATC has an amazing challenge this week, the letter 'E' - that conjours up sooo many things that I couldn't decide, and in the end decided to do two ATC's (not that I like making ATC's you understand :-) ) ....anyway, my trusted rubber stamps in hand, I used some Laura Ashley ones and Versafine Black for Elegance, and I used a Paper Inspirations stamp and Versafine Sepia for Engagement, adding bits of bling, and glitz and a bow as I thought necessary.

ATC Wednesday - Hair
Here's a fun theme, at ATC Wednesday thios week, Hair. I have used a gorgeous rubber stamp of a very blousy lady with a total Hair Attitude - love her, and I have glammed her up a bit with faux jewels in her hair and lovely shiny earrings..she looks as if she can't make up her mind whether it's her hair or a birthday cake on her head :-)
WS - Shiny
Wednesday Stamper has, for me anyway, a difficult challenge this week, Shiny. I have loads of shiny stuff, but getting it to scan properly is nigh on impossible. I made two ATC's for this theme, one with Gesso, silver paint, tissue, black card and silver embossing powder ..called Heavy Metal, and the other one, so pretty, but it hardly shows. I used shiny silver card, put it through my cuttlebug in an embossing folder, and attached with foam pads to raise them up, a couple of gorgeous faux jewel hearts in a lovely pink colour, on a small background of shiny card. I am so disappointed with the scans for both of them, because they really are glitzy ....sorry - not my best..

Arty Girlz Challenge - Wire
Arty Girlz this week have the theme of Wire for their challenge. I have made an ATC - hey I hear you say, an ATC for a change - well, yes, this one is made with two stamps for the background flowers and flourishes, Papermania Elements Wire Flowers, and faux rubies...very simple....

TMTA - Rooftops
TMTA this week has a theme of Rooftops, my ATC is called Eveningtime over Italian Rooftops, because I used a Judikins Italian Holiday cube, also used a tiny watch by Imagina and a sun/moon behind the clouds stamp also by Imagina. I coloured the sky with chalks ..
Awfully Big Art Adventure - Doors
Linda and Rosie over at their Awfully Big Art Adventure blog have a theme this week of doors, so I thought I might enter my door ATC. The door is open, leading off to pastures new and buildings new, so I thought it may be appropriate. The image is part of a Rubber Romance stamp, coloured with gel pens and watercolour pencils.
Valentine card
I thought I would share this card with you - it's the card I made for my hubby for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately the scan isn't very good because the card is 3d due to the spray of Roses. I made the hearts using my Cuttlebug Heart die and embossing folders. I used Elusive Images Valentine stamp sheet - love those images. Double click on the card to read the words, they are lovely.
Geisha with Fan card
Somewhere out there is a challenge to include Fans - but I can't find it now I've made my card - still I like the card anyway so am posting it. I made it for a friend's birthday, the card is Papermania printed card, and the stamp is a big Rubbernecker one. The image is coloured with watercolour pencils.

The red ATC is stamped with stamps from Inkadinkadoo and another image by Crafty Individuals, this one is also softened with Beeswax.

SoArtful challenge
I was looking through Kristen's lovely blog - see my link on the left, and I thought I would try for this challenge, simply because I love unicorns .....it's been digitally altered by a very basic, simple programme (has to be or I couldn't use it!!) I put a sort of crown on his head, and added wings ..and a few gold spots.
Please go along to SoArtful and support this new challenge blog - I think it would be specially good for digital computer buffs ...

Pink Saturday
Good Morning everyone, welcome to another Pink Saturday post. This week, I have found a lovely quote by Audrey Hepburn, which was actually read out at her funeral - the words are wonderful, hope you agree. My photo's aren't pink today, but they signify the weather
The words of Audrey Hepburn.
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.
we are having, and are still cute babies...
to see real pink things, and some lovely posts go along to Beverley's blog at
How Sweet the Sound
Happy Pink Saturday ev eryone.
