SaWo - Altered Cabinet Cards

I scanned my cards and printed them out as small as possible, then mounted two of them on a tag for this weeks challenge over at Saturdays Workout

Penny Black Challenge - White on White

The background is a cuttlebug floral embossing folder, and the stamp is one of my favourite Penny Black stamps ....Pop over to see the lovely artwork, the link is down the left side of my blog. The second card is plain and simple, but pretty, stamp is Flying Stars..

One Powerful Hour

The challenge over on OPH this week is Spooky - well, I tried to make two spooky ATC's, but don't think they would scare many people :-) I used an Inkadinkadoo skull stamp (pressie - aren't I lucky?) and some halloween die cuts and embellishments courtesy of a goody bag from Kristen - link on the left hand side of my blog.

Penny Black Challenge

Well, I was stumped this week, I don't have any PB Halloween stamps, or any from any other company for that matter because I simply don't send Halloween cards, but I decided to improvise for this weeks Penny Black challenge
I made the card up with a PB stamp, an Anita's word stamp, PaperMania background paper and some Halloween embellishments courtesy of a goody bag received from the lovely Kristen (whose links are all over my blog)

Penny Black Challenge

I've never entered this challenge before, although I follow it regularly, because the examples are always so stunning, I never think my cards are good enough to enter. However, today, I was playing about with greens and yellows, and came up with this card, hope you like it ladies :-)
Stamps used are Penny Black 'Casual', Printworks word stamp and Papermania background papers..when I stamped the image, I smudged the ink slightly because I wanted a soft, muted look ....
The Penny Black blog link is down the left hand side of my blog - go and enjoy!!

Think Monday Think ATC - Mixed Media

Not done any challenges for weeks now, I just don't know where the time has gone, but when I saw the new challenge for TMTA I couldn't resist, because I had just made an ATC with different elements on it, peel-offs, paper, card, and a faux jewel...plus the flowers are touched with gel pen - another element :-)

One Powerful Hour - Maps

My trusty Hero Arts map stamp comes out again, with a Magenta galleon and a scrap of black ribbon - this makes a nice card for a man I think and also complies with the theme of this weeks challenge over at One Powerful Hour - pop across and view the artwork ....

One Powerful Hour - Sport

I love challenges that make you think outside the box, and I certainly did for this one - I have a lone male golfer stamp that I have used and reused, but I decided to go a different route and seek out an image from my computer. I save so many images, and hardly ever use them - so here goes. my take on the theme of Sport over on One Powerful Hour this week is Polo. The image is from a cd of images for cardmakers, sorry don't know the name.

What a wonderful theme over at Think Monday, Think ATC it's Frogs - I say wonderful because think it's so different, plus I have had a couple of froggie stamps for years and not used them much - sooooo, now's the chance. I made these two ATC's, green backgrounds of course and scraps of card from my stash ....why not hop over to TMTA and discover how many different ways you can make Frog ATC's :-)

OPH - Lace (Two challenges in one)

One Powerful Hour this week has a lovely challenge. I used a Stamps Happen stamp, painted with Twinkling H20's - took me a bit longer than an hour, but I enjoyed it. I am also entering this for the SBS challenge, Flowers ....the links for all my sisters are down the left hand side of my blog.
Pop over to One Powerful Hour to see all the lovely lace...

OPH - Asian

Over at One Powerful Hour this week the challenge theme is Asian - which is a lovely theme and open to all kinds of interpretation. I have made an ATC with, I think, Asian colours and orchids. I touched the orchids with a Glaze pen to bring out the colours, also the swirls were touched with a Glaze pen to accent the colours on the background.

One Powerful Hour - Vacation

Bit late for this challenge, but I really don't know where the week has gone. The theme this week is Vacation, so I chose a view of Canada, vintage postcard stamp by Inkadinkadoo, and, of course, Wish You Were Here !! Happy Holidays!! Pop over to
One Powerful Hour and look at everyone's ideas of vacations ...

TMTA - Jewels

Hi folks, the theme over at TMTA this week is Jewels. I toyed with the idea of using one of my cat stamps, but then saw this tiny basque and bead bag, and thought long black gloves, and strings of beads - An Evening Out - the pearls and beads are interspaced with tiny jewels, and the handbag has jewels on it's clasp - think that's enough glitz for one ATC :-)

Theme Thursday - Dance

Theme Thursday has a lovely theme this week - Dance. I made this ATC for the challenge, decorated simply with a glittery carnival mask - don't think it needs any more. The stamped image is from Stampin Up and the written background is Hero Arts..

One Powerful Hour - In Flight

One Powerful Hour has a lovely challenge theme this week, In Flight. I always think this little Inkadinkadoo mouse is flying high. I glittered his clothes and his leaf, gave him a couple of jewel eyes stamped the world Giggle at the side, and mounted him on some pretty butterfly card.
