Marilyn

Isn't she lovely? I found this art stencil in a charity shop for 10p and coloured it in with chalks and just added the bow because I really didn't feel it needed any other embellishments ......

Green Daisies

The stamp is an Outlines stamp and the word stamps are Hero Arts. I folded an A4 cream card in half and then folded the front back on itself to make a tri-fold card. I stamped the flower stamp down the outside in moss green a couple of times, then again on glossy card in Versamark ink.I rubbed over the glossy image when it was dry with the same colour ink as the original stamping, making a photo image, which I edged with gold peel off borders, as I did round the edges of the main image. I positioned Friendship over the joins in the stamped images to hide them and edged the rest of the card with the moss green colour before finally stamping Thankful down the right hand side.......

Still Life

I stamped this image with grey Stazon and painted it with gouache. The Happy Birthday stamp is an old one - think its an Anita's stamp or Docrafts ....... I paint the flowers different colours to match either the seasons or the base card colour.

Soft Sculpture

This simple card is stamped with an old black ink pad, the sort we all have thats almost dry but theres still a lot left so we can't throw it out!, the stamp is called Soft Sculpture by Penny Black, its tall and thin and also looks lovely when the stamp itself is coloured with
Marvy le Plume pens. The words are a Hero Arts stamp, I think most stampers recognise their style. The only embellishment I thought it needed was the silver Happy Birthday label with a bit of silver cotton drifting down.

The Old Barn

These were stamped with an Impression Obsession stamp, first one was coloured in with soft pastel coloured chalks, and the second was coloured with water colour pencils, just touched with water here and there to bring out an accent on something .......I have in the past just coloured the sunflowers, or the flowers across the bottom, stamping the whole image with Versafine brown ink pad, and that makes the whole thing look like an old photo.....

Rocky

This little fellow took my heart a long time ago - I just love his expression. I asked his human Mom if I could use his image sometimes on my cards, and she said yes. His name is Rocky.

Feelin' shirty

I made this card for a friend -- I have a cd with the clothes ideas, shirts, waistcoats, blouses and skirts etc -- good idea when you need a bit of inspiration for a mans card.

Bit of Crafting

Heres three of the cards I made recently. I tend to make simple, uncluttered designs because I make most of my cards for charity, and I find these always sell well at the charity stalls and shops I donate to. Most of my cards are stamped and then embellished afterwards. I choose my stamp first and then work out my design round it.

A bit of mush

love these photos - spontaneous and natural ........or just peaceful..........

Go for it !!

I sometimes think that a persons favourite photos show a bit more about that person so here goes -- hope whoever is reading this enjoys a brief glimpse into my soul......

Well, here goes !!

This is going to be for cards and ATC's and arty crafty thingys - not into altering things too much, but that isn't to say I won't have a go from time to time. What I really want to do is share a lot of cards from a defunkt craft group with everyone and hopefully add a lot more, plus some ATC's of course ........well, I just planted the acorn - here's hoping I have the makings of a reasonable sized oak by the end of the year -- and the time to keep it all going !!!
This lovely boy is my inspiration for love and patience, if I ever get depressed enough to think I can't do anything I go back to when we rescued him and think to myself that if he can overcome what life threw at him, then so can I. !!!
